Foam Acoustic Absorption Panels - Absorbatone

Acoustic Wall Panels

Absorbatone™ is a cost effective range of fabric covered foam acoustic absorption panels specifically designed to reduce echo and control reverberation times within buildings. Due to their foam construction, Absorbatone™ panels are not susceptible to fiber migration making them ideal for clean environments such as hospitals, hearing facilities and restaurants.

Once fitted, Absorbatone™ panels create a pleasant acoustically enhanced environment and can greatly improve speech intelligibility.

Absorbatone is available in the following standard sizes, in either 25mm or 50mm thicknesses:

  • 300mm x 300mm
  • 600mm x 600mm
  • 600mm x 1000mm
  • 600mm x 1200mm
  • 1200mm x 1200mm
  • 1200mm x 1500mm
  • 1200mm x 2400mm

Fabric Finish

IAC Absorbatone foam acoustic panels are wrapped using acoustically transparent, highly durable fabrics which compliment the excellent sound absorbing properties of the foam interior.

A choice of colours ensures that Absorbatone panels can either be a feature or discretely blend into the background depending on the application and customers requirements.

Absorbatone is designed to be directly fixed to flat surfaces (walls/ceilings) with either high tack adhesive or magnetic strip, depending on the make up of the host structures.

IAC offer a full acoustical service to help determine the optimum solution for each project in terms of panel quantities required and location.

Fire Performance

The fabric finish meets the requirements of Class 1 Surface Spread of Flame when tested to BA476: Part 7: 1987 while the foam interior meets the Class O requirements of the building regulations when tested to BS476 Part 6 1981 and Part 7 1987.

Cleaning & Maintenance

IAC Absorbatone™ foam acoustic absorption panels can be maintained through periodical vacuuming to remove dust. Panels should not be cleaned with water / detergents as this can stain the fabric finish. In some cases, stains can be treated with a non-solvent based cleaning solution, however care must be taken to not damage the panels and a test on a non-visible area is advised where possible.
